1849 East - Berwyn

HRC-1

This is the first home to have begun the legacy of historical restoration by this author's (Matt Schademann) hands. This 1927 Bungalow would also be my first foray into real-estate transaction, as the Buyer.

505 Thomas - Forest Park

HRC-2

The first real collaboration between Glenn Garlisch and Matt Schademann, with Matt being the principal photographer and student of historic architecture.  By billing this home as "a true American Bungalow worthy of the most loving hands to procure its Restoration" - it was under contract in just a few days at almost 96% of asking.

2429 Oak Park - Berwyn

HRC-3

1927 Berwyn Bungalow - The finest and most well-preserved original-feature home in the City. This dwelling's transaction was secured by Matt & Glenn from an ORIGINAL FAMILY owned since its 1927 construction. Only the parents who bought it and their 2 daughters ever lived there, the youngest recently moving into assisted living. HRC consulted with the crews and oversaw the restoration back to as close as original as possible.

2112 Clarence - Berwyn

HRC-4

The procuring cause was empowered by Matt to secure this incredible surviving gem of North Berwyn for close friend, Maureen.  This home would have fallen victim to the hands of Flippers who's ignorance would have seen the severe alteration of original Vitrolite bathroom walls and fixtures, blown out kitchen walls, Breakfast Room and rear Den as well as the removal of an original 360˚ nautical-themed wall mural in basement.  Luckily, a deal was brokered to buy out the investors so this lovely Bungalow could fall into loving hands for a total restoration of historic accuracy.

6513 33rd St - Berwyn

This was the 2015 deal that really made Glenn and I consider partnering as a team! Just through making the connections, we found his frustrated buyers this unbelievable home. It was always one thing or another that turned his buyers off about the attic-rehabs..until this!   (Arlene) '...Matt knew I was going to sell in the fall and he bugged me until I agreed to show it early (through his partner Glenn) before we listed it. That was that. The first people who looked at it...... By the way, thanks, Matt...'
